
Singer-turned-evangelist Juniad Jamshed passed away on December 7th in a plane crash, it took lives of 42 passengers that peacefully sat in PIA’s plane PK-661, flying from Chitral to Islamabad. The fallen legend was laid to rest at Karachi’s Jamia Darul Uloom in Korangi Industrial Area on Thursday.
There’s no doubt that his depart left the masses in a heartbreak. Songs like Dil Dil Pakistan, Aitbaar and Ye Shaam became the identity of our generation. Shehzad Roy, Salman Ahmed and Ali Zafar showed their affection via their soulful vocals for the legend.
Pop singer Shehzad Roy released this track which he dedicated to all the passengers of PIA’s PK-661, his soothing voice and melodious tune prove that the emotional tribute ‘Yaad Kerna’ is fine song. The 39 year old mentioned on his Facebook page, “my tribute to all the passengers on flight PK 661, reliving fondest memories of my dear friend and brother Junaid Jamshed.”
Singer Salman Ahmed also partook and dedicated his latest song ‘Door Bohat Door’ to late Junaid Jamshed, the video is about the various highs and lows of life and how one should be prepared to deal with them. The song is certainly a feast for the ears.
Lastly, Ali Zafar sang ‘Aitbaar’ solely to dedicate the departed. This sweet serenade is confirms that Junaid Jamshed was a man who ruled plenty of hearts and he’ll never be forgotten. No doubt that the singer/actor Ali Zafar has done justice to the song.
