The movie kick starts with Saba Qamar who’s that career oriented modern girl with set of future goals all planned up, but her so called boyfriend who deems her inferior and refuses to offer her the comfort that she deserves gives a major step back.

Furthermore, when heartbroken Taara runs into the fun loving Moti who suffers from a stutter hitch the rocky road trip becomes so much to look forward to. Moti however is being hunted down by two goons who are absolutely the cherry on top in LSA, no doubt that the impression of Amitabh Bachchan was pulled off well.

The couple then settle on travelling together to reach their destinations which is same. However, the movie takes a swift turn with Tara and Moti parting ways and realizing they have grown together well. The music of LSA with some latka jhatkas add another icing on the cake. Saba Qamar sure gives women of our industry a run for their money.

The movie moves forward with countless fast paced events that adds a fun element to the script and makes you wonder that if ‘is it just me or is the film closer to end too quick?’

Our media has always been super conservative in terms of entertainment or politics. Though now with a horde of channels coming in picture, it seems like it’s falling into place and our industry is finally a churning out some worth watching dramas. ARY Digital certainly knows how to hit the right chords and they delivered shows that broke the stereotype.

We’re all so used to of all the rom-coms and saas bahu khit phit that it seems almost impossible to find such shows, however these dramas have broken social taboos and the ideas were no doubt out of the box. How daring is that?

Chup Raho :

The hit drama serial raised the question of women sexual abuse. Sajjal Ali, Feroze Khan, Shaheen Khan and Jibran Syed flaunted some phenomenal acting skills in the show. The story revolves around Sajjal who is raped by her brother in law but is forced to stay shush as her confession will ruin her sisters marriage.

Besharam :

Another drama serial that made waves on social media and got everyone hooked was Besharam. Story is about Mishi who’s a super model and ties a knot with the political activist Haider. The tale focuses on how Pakistani models are labelled as the ‘corrupt women’ or they have a ‘bad character.’ This worth watching show is another addition to the list. The cast includes Saba Qamar and very talented Zahid Ahmed.

Khuda Mera Bhai Hai : 

With only three episodes gone on air, this drama has glued people to their TV screens! Starring – the gorgeous Ayesha Khan, Jibran Syed and Furqan Qureshi – Khud Mera Bhi Hai is about the third gender. How often do we avoid that topic? As daring as it is, people need to see the other side of the coin. Currently airing on ARY Digital on Saturdays, this drama has the kick that you need.

If it was about cutting a dash every day and looking on point on your daily basis our Pakistani celebrities don’t fall behind, the pressure on them is no doubt very high. Well, the dry skin and chapped lips will need some lotion and creams no? Hair conditioners are another addition to the list on winter grocery shopping. So collection of all amazing smells will come in handy and you’ll love those!

Winter clothes

This season calls for some warm pashmena and cozy hoodies that we can hide in. Leather jackets, long or short coats or sweaters and cardigans. You just have to update your wardrobe and be sure you’re connected to the latest trend well. You don’t love under a rock do you?

Dry fruits 

Those almonds, pistachios and cashew nuts are essential in winters. You’re late nights are incomplete without the dry fruits in Pakistan. Snuggle in your blankets and munch these babies away!

Winter weddings

Those December shaadis are simply perfect. Every girl opts for her wedding to fall on the months of winter. At least the heat won’t melt away the mascara! It’s true that all the sleeveless crop tops with ghararas are tough to pull off in the cold climate, but come on winter weddings are divine!

Accessories 

Stuff like gloves, socks, hats, leg warmers are your savior the entire winter season, and no matter how chubby you look they will save you from so much drama!

Boots

You literally cannot wear boots any other time of the year people. This is the time to take out those shoe boxes. Not only do the boots look so fashionable but they also keep your feet warm. It’s like walking on foam that radiates warmth!

Oranges

How on earth can we skip this scrumptious fruit? The juice oranges are like the charm of winters.

Food

Whether it’s the late night bonfires or midnight snacks, for all the foodies major BBQ sessions are a compulsory. Plus those kebabs and malaai botis are to die for!

The name Mehreen Jabbar instantly hits you with the impression of ‘quality work.’ The director has flaunted her marvelous skills in dramas like Daam and Jackson Heights. The most anticipated Dobara Phir Se is a slow paced movie based on a very realistic approach. The lack of melodrama and to the point plot makes the film a worth watch.

DPS kick starts with the introduction of all the characters right at one place, without wasting any time at all. The icing on the cake was how smartly MJ portrayed each character. Everyone having personalities poles apart and yet being the gang of best friends who stand together as one for one another.

Adeel Hussain and Hareem Farooq have unquestionably outdone themselves as the leads in film and no doubt Sanam Saeed, Ali Kazmi and Tooba Siddiqui were a very strong supporting roles. The movie unravels in a certain way that proves how women empowerment is so crucial, standing up for your sanity is not bad. Having second chances is not bad, and above all giving yourself another chance of happiness is simply fair.

Adeel Hussain initially comes off as the stud who carries his heart on his sleeve and is all about some downright gorgeous women whom company he enjoys. However, we witness how Hareem Farooq brings that drastic change in him and he transforms into that ‘lover boy’ who is finally all set to settle down. The chemistry between the two is simply extraordinary.

Furthermore, besides some kick ass acting coming from all the characters, the music of this film just takes the cake. Songs like Lar Gaiyaan and Khamoshi are the cherry on top in DPS. From the costumes to the shots to the cinematography – DPS has it all and adds that punch which you require in any movie that would take your stress away.

One thing that really stood out for us was the fact that DPS focuses on how one should live life like there’s no tomorrow. If a dire experience can change your perception towards life – then something happy is just around the corner waiting to lead you to a better future. Oh and yes, good men do exist! They aren’t just in fairy-tales you see.

The final verdict of the film is that if you have the taste of romantic dramas and realistic plots than you can’t miss out on Dobara Phir Se, the tale that has all elements of love, companionship, envy and heartbreaks all under one roof. A torrent of emotions will certainly take place when you head out for DPS. A plus? This will keep you on the edge the entire time, you’ll be watching it on the big screen.
