Ramazan is a the month when people try to mend their differences between relatives and build healthy relationships. It’s good to meet new people, and spend time with the loved ones whom you haven’t seen in a while. There is great benefit and a feeling of compassion that you will find. There is so much satisfaction in spending your time visiting relatives, the elderly, the sick, and the lonely. Reach out to someone every day!

Reflect on and improve yourself :

This is the time to reflect on yourself as a person, and to recognize the things you need to change. We all have bad habits which we should strive to change during this month. The Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) advised us that small improvements, done consistently, are better than large but unsuccessful attempts. So start with one small change and take one step at a time.

Give in charity :

It doesn’t always have to be money, maybe you can go through your closets and donate quality used clothing, or spend some volunteer hours helping a local community organization. Makes sure to give charities that can put your donations to use for the needy.

Avoid wasting time :

There are many distractions around us, during Ramazan and throughout the year. From soap operas to shopping sales, we can literally spend hours doing nothing but spending our time and money  on things that have no benefit to us. During the month of Ramazan, try to limit your schedule to allow more time for worship, reciting Quran, and fulfilling more of the other items on the above “to-do list.” Ramazan comes just once a year, and we never know when our last one will be, so make the most of it.

When two people who despise each other are tied down in a relationship, life becomes very difficult for them to live together. The faith of  Sikandar and Norin was something like this, strangers who coincidentally came across and constantly end up fighting with each other but ultimately they tied the knot.

The story revolves around this couple who goes through all the ups and downs of their married life and yet tries to cope up with them, the character of Norin is very patient and compromising. Even though Norin and Sikandar’s marriage was something that they didn’t want to happen, they still ended up loving each other and taking care of each other.

We see how Sikandar’s sister-in-law; being the most negative character of the family tries her best to sabotage their relationship and be in command of Sikandar’s life. Our society sometimes portray a very negative aspect, that involves the ‘daughter in law’ Being the main target all the times which is wrong.

After tolerating so much Norin earns the love and respect of the entire family. We learn from this Drama that no matter what – a husband should support his wife and be by her side, a wife should have patience and a family must not take an advantage of a girl who has been married in their family. Love the girl and treat her like your own as she is someone’s daughter too. Compromises eventually lead to a happy life which is what exactly happened to Norin and Sikandar which is exactly what happened at the end with Sikandar and Noreen, who have a baby boy and their life finds the perfect meaning.

On July 8th 2016, Pakistan lost yet another gem – a time of Eid where people are busy celebrating, the news shattered many hearts and left us in tears. We all are well aware that Abdul Sattar Edhi was one of the most renowned and noble personalities of Pakistan. He was born on 1st January 1928 in a little town of India called Bantva. Edhi was a very well known Pakistani philanthropist, social activist, ascetic, and humanitarian. He was the originator and head of the Edhi Foundation in Pakistan and helped countless people in need.

Pakistani celebrities took to twitter to mourn the death of legendary Edhi, we surely loved and cherished him from the core of our hearts.

 When nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, he stated with the greatest of humility that he is a mere “faqeer” (beggar) and that the nomination has made him very happy. Edhi was by far the most selfless human being  Pakistan ever saw. There is indeed a lot that people around the world who can learn from this selfless man, a true hero for humanity – that is Abdul Sattar Edhi.

Ab Kar Meri Rafugari is a show which has portrayed the reality of our society to some extent, it’s true that there are females who suffer so much only because of typical customs that doesn’t allow them to grow in any way possible. Women in many families end up marrying the wrong men and then suffer. According to the head it’s okay to be wedded as soon as possible and to anyone they find suitable, weather the girl agrees or not. The women in many families quit opting for higher education and are not allowed to leave the house.

1.What you allow is what will continue – When Mujahid Taj decided that his daughter Taaba is to be married to Shakeel, she took a stand for herself and left the house. Even though she left to end her life but eventually learned to accept the bitter truth. She married Jaazib and found her happy ending, however, she knew the future won’t be easy.

2.A mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in the world – The way Zahida always had her daughters  back is something to look up to. She kept on trying to convince her husband to believe Taaba and not get her married to that wicked Shakeel.

3.Ego is the only requirement which destroys a relationship – The ego and selfishness of Mujahid Taj destroyed the life of his daughters, and took the life of his wife who did nothing but showed love and concern to her entire family without asking anything in return.

4.A good son makes a good husband – Jaazib proved to be a good husband and a good son, he loved Taaba with all his heart and even dealt her every tantrum while she was going through a rough patch. He took care of his father until his last breath and later became the one true supporter of his mother.

5.It’s better to learn late than never – Once Mujahid learned that he has been unfair to his entire family he fixed his blunders, getting Zoofi the divorce she needed and accepting Taaba into the family was the best thing he could do.

This drama has provided us with the kind of lesson that should be taught to everyone, one should never be too helpless when comes to all the old customs and a self respect which is only for the sake of people.

Misbah Ul Haq dedicated the win to Pakistan’s army and the philanthropist, Abdul Sattar Edhi who is no more with us, Pakistan’s team wore Edhi foundation’s logo on their jersey. He further claimed that Amir is a changed kid now and this win at Lord’s is the most memorable win of his career.

The victory at Lords cricket ground was as appropriate as it could get when Muhammed Amir – the fast bowler who had no connection to this very ground for the last six years, Younis Khan flaunted some phenomenal work to pay honor to Pakistan’s army who had trained the team before the Pakistan-England series.
